Privacy Statement

IAEI is committed to protecting your privacy online. This statement discloses the information practices for IAEI web sites, including what type of information is gathered and tracked, how the information is used, and with whom the information is shared.

You can travel through most of our site without giving us any information about yourself. But sometimes we do need information to provide services that you request, and this statement of privacy explains data collection and use in those situations. Please read the complete iaei.org privacy statement.

Web Logs and Cookies

IAEI does log your IP address (the Internet address of your computer) to give us an idea of which part of our Web site you visit and how long you spend there. But we do not link your IP address to any personal information unless you have logged in to our website.

Like many other Web sites, the IAEI.org may use a standard technology called a “cookie” to collect information about how you use the site. A cookie is a small data file that certain Web sites write to your hard drive when you visit them. A cookie file can contain information such as a user ID that the site uses to track the pages you’ve visited, but the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie can’t read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. Some parts of IAEI’s Web site may use cookies to track user traffic patterns. We do this in order to determine the usefulness of our Web site information to our users and to see how effective our navigational structure is in helping users reach that information.

If you prefer not to receive cookies while browsing our Web site, you can set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies and refuse the cookie when your browser alerts you to its presence. You can also refuse all cookies by turning them off in your browser, although you may not be able to take full advantage of IAEI’s Web site if you do so. You do not need to have cookies turned on to use/navigate through many parts of our Web site.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain accuracy, and ensure proper use of information, we have employed physical, electronic, and managerial processes to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

When you make a purchase from our Site, we use Secure Sockets Layer (“”SSL””) encryption technology to safeguard your credit card and other sensitive information while it is being sent to us. The SSL encryption is designed to make the information unreadable by anyone but us. This security measure is working when you see either the symbol of an unbroken key or closed lock (depending on your browser) on the bottom of your browser window.
