The Massachusetts Board of Fire Prevention Regulations (BFPR) met on December 5, 2019 and voted to approve the recommendations of the Massachusetts Electric Code Advisory Sub-Committee to accept the 2020 National Electrical Code (NEC). The promulgation process should be complete to allow for a January 1, 2020 adoption.
