Bert McAlister
Bert McAlister is a supervising electrical inspector for the city of Detroit. Starting as an electrical inspector in May 1983, he was promoted to supervisor in July 2001. He is a member of IBEW Local 58. He has achieved both journeyman and master electrician licenses in the city of Detroit. He has taught electrical trade classes for the Associated Builders & Contractors, Wayne County Community College District, and Henry Ford Community College. He is also an electrician's mate chief petty officer in the United States Navy Reserves.
