Roger Montambo

Roger Montambo, PE, is vice president of Electrical Products Division of Galvan Industries, Inc. He graduated from Michigan Technological University receiving a BSME degree. Shortly thereafter, he received a professional engineer (PE) certificate from the state of Wisconsin. He has worked in the electrical industry for over 40 years including service at ITT Meyer (steel poles), ITT Holub (connectors) and ITT Blackburn (bonding and grounding) which all, then individual companies, ultimately became American Electric in 1986, later merging with Thomas & Betts in the early 1990s. Montambo joined Galvan nearly 16 years ago, maintaining a focus in bonding and grounding. Much of his experience has been focused in this area, and he plans to continue in this specification work with NEMA, IEEE, SCTE and allied code influences including NEC and NESC.
