December 8, 2022 — IAEI News Magazine, the magazine of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors, has moved to a quarterly print publication schedule and is moving to enhance its web version as part of a larger plan to enhance quality content and provide additional member-valued benefits by providing member-only content via its online website at iaei.org.
The IAEI.org member website will be regularly updated with selected content from the print magazine, links to the digital flipbook format, and members-only articles.
The print edition of IAEI News Magazine will be distributed to IAEI members and subscribers in January (Winter), April (Spring), July (Summer), and October (Fall). The magazine will continue to provide in-depth technical information for electrical professionals such as electricians, electrical inspectors, engineers, among others.
“The discussions about the new IAEI magazine took place during the Annual IAEI Board Meeting and the board agreed that moving to a quarterly print schedule was the best option,” said Rudy Garza, IAEI President and CEO. “Over the years it has become increasingly difficult to find subject matter experts to submit high quality articles on electrical safety. As a result, the IAEI magazine content now contains more outsourced articles and fewer unique articles, added Garza. By going to a quarterly print magazine this allows more time for staff to gather unique quality articles to fill the magazine and prevents us from becoming a magazine full of filler material and advertising. It’s all part of our new strategic plan motto: ‘Recommitted to providing IAEI members with highest quality education, publications and customer service.’ I encourage any of our members who wish to submit an article that fits within the scope of our magazine to please submit them for our review…we always need good articles to publish.”
